The standard A$650 shipping and delivery charge is displayed at checkout before payment.

Delivery Scheduling

Confirmed After Ordering

Delivery timing depends on stock availability, destination, site requirements and carrier scheduling.

Before You Order

The standard online delivery charge is A$650. If your location requires non-standard transport, specialised equipment or unusual site access, please contact us before placing your order so the appropriate delivery arrangements can be discussed.

01

Delivery Coverage

Shipping Containers Pty Ltd can arrange delivery to eligible locations across Australia.

Delivery availability depends on the destination, road access, site conditions, container size and the availability of suitable transport.

Some regional, remote or difficult-access locations may require alternative transport arrangements. If you are unsure whether standard delivery is suitable for your location, please contact us before placing your order.

02

Shipping & Delivery Charges

A standard shipping and delivery charge of A$650 applies to eligible online orders placed through our website.

The delivery charge is displayed separately during cart and checkout and can be reviewed before payment is completed.

Standard Delivery Charge

Shipping & delivery: A$650

The A$650 standard delivery charge applies to orders that can be completed using our standard delivery service.

Non-standard transport, specialised placement, unusual site conditions or destinations outside standard delivery capability may require a separate arrangement.

If you believe your property may require specialised transport or difficult-access delivery, please contact us before placing your order.

03

Delivery Timeframes

Delivery times vary depending on container availability, destination, carrier scheduling, transport requirements and site conditions.

An estimated delivery or dispatch timeframe may be provided after your order and delivery information have been reviewed.

Unless expressly confirmed otherwise in writing, any delivery date or timeframe provided is an estimate rather than a guaranteed delivery date.

Weather, road conditions, carrier availability, mechanical issues, public holidays and other events outside our reasonable control may affect delivery.

04

Delivery Transport Methods

The most appropriate transport method depends on the container, delivery location, access conditions and available carrier equipment.

01

Tilt-Tray

May be used where there is sufficient access and suitable space for the container to be unloaded from the rear of the vehicle.

02

Side-Loader

May be suitable where the container can be positioned beside the delivery vehicle and sufficient side clearance is available.

03

Other Transport

Alternative transport may be considered when appropriate for the container, location and delivery conditions.

05

Site Access & Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for providing accurate information about the delivery location and any conditions that could affect vehicle access, unloading or container placement.

Before delivery, please consider the following:

Gates & Driveways Tell us about narrow entrances or restricted vehicle access.
Ground Conditions Identify soft, wet, sloped or unstable areas before delivery.
Overhead Clearance Consider trees, power lines, buildings and other overhead obstacles.
Manoeuvring Space Delivery vehicles require suitable space to approach and position the container.
Road Restrictions Advise us of weight limits, narrow roads or other transport restrictions.
Placement Area The intended placement area should be accessible and reasonably prepared.
Safety Comes First

A delivery driver may decline to enter, unload or place a container where they reasonably consider the location unsafe or unsuitable for the vehicle or equipment being used.

06

Container Placement & Door Direction

Customers should advise us of their preferred container position and door direction when delivery is being arranged.

Final placement is subject to safe vehicle access, ground conditions, available space and the capabilities of the delivery equipment.

If placement direction is important for your property, please discuss this with us before delivery.

07

Delivery Day

Customers should ensure that the delivery location is accessible and ready when the carrier arrives.

Where customer attendance or site access instructions are required, those arrangements should be confirmed before the scheduled delivery.

Vehicles, equipment, locked gates or other obstacles should not prevent access to the agreed delivery area.

08

Unsuccessful or Aborted Delivery

If delivery cannot be completed because information supplied about the location was inaccurate, access is unavailable, the site is unsuitable or another customer-controlled issue prevents delivery, additional transport costs may apply.

Where additional transport, return or re-delivery charges are required, the customer will be informed before another delivery is arranged.

Help Avoid Additional Charges

Contact us before delivery if you are uncertain about access, ground conditions, placement space or any restrictions affecting large vehicles.

09

Delays Outside Our Control

Delivery may occasionally be affected by events outside our reasonable control.

Examples can include severe weather, road restrictions, carrier delays, mechanical issues, transport disruption, public holidays or unexpected operational conditions.

Where we become aware of a significant change affecting a scheduled delivery, we will use reasonable efforts to provide updated information.

10

Customer Collection

Collection may be available for selected containers or locations by prior arrangement.

Customers should not arrange collection until the container location, availability, collection time, loading arrangements and any required documentation have been confirmed.

Customers arranging their own transport are responsible for using an appropriate carrier and complying with applicable transport, vehicle and load-restraint requirements.

11

Checking Your Container After Delivery

Customers should inspect the delivered container as soon as reasonably practical after delivery.

If you believe the wrong product has been supplied or there is a problem with the delivered container, contact us promptly and provide your order details and photographs where appropriate.

This policy does not exclude, restrict or modify any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

Please also review our Returns & Refunds Policy for further information.

12

Non-Standard Delivery Requirements

The standard A$650 shipping charge is intended for orders that can be completed using the standard delivery service available through our website.

Some locations or projects may require different transport, specialised lifting equipment, additional handling or other arrangements.

If you know your delivery requires unusual access, specialised placement or non-standard transport, contact us before ordering.

Important

Do not rely on the standard A$650 online delivery rate for specialised or unusual delivery requirements without first confirming the arrangements with us.

13
